Conjunto de eventos de muestreo de comunidades hidrobiológicas realizados en el área de influencia del Título Minero JDG-16061, municipio de Tarazá, Antioquia, Colombia, durante los días 5 y 6 de noviembre de 2025. Los muestreos se llevaron a cabo en cinco (5) puntos de monitoreo distribuidos en tres cuerpos de agua: la Quebrada Apaví (P1), un lago interior al título (P2), una fuente superficial sin nombre afluente al título (P3 y P4) y el río Cauca (P5). En cada punto se evaluaron los componentes de bentos (macroinvertebrados acuáticos), perifiton, zooplancton, fitoplancton e ictiofauna, empleando protocolos estandarizados como red D, cuadrante, red de fitoplancton, red de zooplancton, electropesca y atarraya. Los registros fueron colectados por Térreo Consultoría en Servicios Ambientales y procesados por Hidroquímica Laboratorio Ambiental S.A.S. Los datos se documentaron siguiendo el estándar Darwin Core (DwC) para eventos de muestreo, versión 2.1, en el marco de las exigencias de monitoreo de biodiversidad acuática para proyectos mineros en Colombia.

Abstract
A new species of Odorrana is described from the limestone karst forest in northern Vietnam based on morphological differences and molecular divergence. Morphologically, Odorrana nagao sp. nov. is distinguishable from its congeners by the following combination of characteristics: size medium (SVL 37.4 mm in male, 47.1–54.7 mm in females); head longer than wide; tympanum distinct, round, ~ 50 % of the diameter of eye; vomerine teeth present; males without external vocal sac; nuptial pad present on finger I in males; webbing formula I 0–1 II 0 – 1 III 0 – 11 / 3 IV 11 / 3 – 1 / 4 V; tibio-tarsal articulation reaching the tip of snout when hindlimb adpressed along body; dorsolateral conical spines present; dorsolateral fold present; dorsum moss-green with brown mottling; ventral surface cream with dark brown mottling. Phylogenetic analyses of mitochondrial 16 S rRNA and COI gene sequences supported the new species as a sister taxon to an unresolved clade consisting of Odorrana calciphila, O. concelata, O. feii, O. liboensis and O. lipuensis (UFB = 98, PP = 1). The uncorrected p-distances of 16 S rRNA and COI genes between the new species and its closest congeners were 2.33 % and 6.33 %, respectively.

Abstract
The Neotropical genus Deltochilum Eschscholtz, 1822, is one of the most speciose genera in the tribe Deltochilini. This genus of dung beetles (Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae) is divided into eight subgenera. The subgenus D. Deltohyboma Lane, 1946, with 51 valid species, is the most diverse in the genus and was recently divided into 19 species groups. This paper presents the description of eight new species from the plebejum species group: Deltochilum tyba sp. nov., D. pseudoabdominale sp. nov., D. parapseudoabdominale sp. nov., D. picachos sp. nov., D. pauxi sp. nov., D. altiventris sp. nov., D. ventripuncturatus sp. nov., and D. nobile sp. nov. These species are distributed along the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia and the Venezuelan Andes, with one species also found in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (Colombia). The lectotype for D. plebejum Balthasar, 1939 is designated herein. Three identification keys (for major males, minor and medium-sized males, and females), along with descriptions, photographs, and distribution maps are presented for all species. Additionally, redescriptions of D. plebejum and D. abdominale Martínez, 1947, originally included in this species group, are presented. With these new species, the number of valid species in the subgenus D. Deltohyboma reaches 59.

Estas actividades permitieron registrar la presencia de diversas especies de peces y tiburones, generando información sobre la abundancia y riqueza de fauna marina en el área. Los datos obtenidos contribuyen al seguimiento de las especies VOC del Santuario y aportan información relevante para comprender los patrones de presencia y distribución de la fauna marina asociada a este ecosistema.El conjunto de datos generado puede ser utilizado para apoyar procesos de monitoreo ecológico, evaluación del estado de las poblaciones de especies de interés para la conservación y fortalecimiento de estrategias de manejo del Santuario de Fauna y Flora Malpelo. Asimismo, esta información puede servir como insumo para futuras investigaciones sobre biodiversidad marina, dinámica de poblaciones y conservación de grandes depredadores en el Pacífico colombiano, así como para procesos de educación ambiental y sensibilización sobre la importancia de las áreas marinas protegidas.

Abstract
Three new macropterous species of the genus Oedichirus Erichson, 1839 from China, are described and illustrated: O. acutus Tang & Peng, sp. nov. (Libo, Guizhou), O. biwenxuani Tang & Peng, sp. nov. (Yingjiang, Yunnan) and O. excisus Tang & Peng, sp. nov. (Qujing, Yunnan). Oedichirus laoticus Rougemont, 2018 is reported from China for the first time. Additional provincial records are provided: O. chapmani Cameron, 1940 from Hubei, Guangdong and Yunnan; O. longipennis Kraatz, 1859 from Zhejiang, Guangdong and Hainan; and O. ovalisis Duan, Yue & Li, 2024 from Guangxi. A key to the macropterous species from China is provided.

Abstract
During an ongoing investigation of bambusicolous fungi within the Xylariomycetidae, three microfungal specimens belonging to the family Cainiaceae were collected from southern China. Based on detailed morphological observations and phylogenetic analyses of combined internal transcribed spacer (ITS) and large subunit ribosomal RNA (LSU) sequence data, these collections were identified as two new species of Amphibambusa, namely Amphibambusa fangchenggangensis and Am. yunnanensis, and one new species of Arecophila, Ar. viscosa. Comprehensive descriptions, micrographs, and a phylogenetic tree of the new species are provided, highlighting bamboo forests as a rich reservoir of fungal diversity.

Abstract
Species of the genus Arboridia Zachvatkin from China are reviewed, with nine new species described in the nominate subgenus Arboridia: A. (Arboridia) anceps, A. (A.) cuihuashanastra, A. (A.) fluctiformis, A. (A.) longiora, A. (A.) medialis, A. (A.) orbicularis, A. (A.) procurva, A. (A.) tenuicava, and A. (A.) wanshuigouensis spp. nov. One new combination is proposed: A. (A.) cambera (Song & Li, 2016) comb. nov. In addition, two species are newly recorded from China: A. (A.) padi and A. (A.) silvarum. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of these species, along with a checklist of all known species from China are provided.

Abstract
Seven new species of the chigger mite genus Hyracarus Lawrence, 1949 are described from murid rodents in the Western Cape Province of South Africa: Hyracarus adamsi sp. nov., H. tanneri sp. nov., H. chicoi sp. nov., H. oreillyi sp. nov., H. leei sp. nov., H. lucki sp. nov., and H. britti sp. nov. A new key to species of this genus is compiled, which includes 25 valid species and two dubious species without known types. Currently, nine species of Hyracarus are known in the Western Cape Province — H. minimus Stekolnikov, 2025, H. maximus Stekolnikov, 2025, and the seven new species described herein. Two or more of these nine species (four as maximum) co-occur in the majority of sampled sites where the genus was recorded.

The project is based on collaboration with local fishermen and fishmongers to sample the defined species.

Barcode reference libraries are a valuable molecular resource for future biodiversity assessments, including standard barcoding surveys and environmental DNA (eDNA) approaches. Grasshoppers, members of the suborder Caelifera of the insect order Orthoptera, on the Comoros Islands have not yet been subject of barcoding studies, marking a clear gap in a poorly-studied region of high biodiversity and endemism. Our results illustrate both the potential and the constraints of CO1 barcodes in caeliferan systematics and highlight the importance of expanding molecular reference libraries in understudied biodiversity hotspots.We provide a first barcode reference library, including COI sequences from 22 Caelifera specimens representing 12 genera and 15 species. Nine out of 12 genera can be reliably identified using DNA barcodes. However, closely-related taxa, such as Symbellia species, were not well resolved by CO1 alone, highlighting the need for additional markers and morphological evidence. Furthermore, preliminary evidence suggests the presence of different Parepistaurus lineages on the Archipelago, potentially indicating undescribed diversity and deserving further study.

Abstract. Among daddy long-legs spiders (Pholcidae), Ninetinae is a distinctive subfamily that comprises short-legged, fast-running spiders. Most species are small or tiny, lead reclusive lives, and are largely restricted to semiarid regions, which together has made them poorly collected and poorly known. Here, we build on focused recent collections in the Brazilian Cerrado and Caatinga biomes, two of the World’s richest tropical savanna, xeric shrubland and thorn forest regions. Our focus is on the taxonomy of the genus Kambiwa Huber, 2000 that previously contained only two nominal species, each known from a single locality. Combining morphological and molecular (CO1 barcode) data, we describe six new species in Kambiwa (K. brumado Huber sp. nov.; K. coribe Huber sp. nov.; K. ibo Huber sp. nov.; K. itacarambi Huber sp. nov.; K. maracas Huber sp. nov.; K. mucuge Huber sp. nov.), redescribe the type species K. neotropica (Kraus, 1957), and synonymize the monotypic genus Pemona Huber, 2019 with Kambiwa, resulting in the new combination K. sapo (Huber, 2019) comb. nov. In addition, we describe a new genus of superficially Kambiwa -like spiders from the same geographic region: Sertana Huber gen. nov., with five new species (S. bumba Huber gen. et sp. nov.; S. capivara Huber gen. et sp. nov.; S. igapora Huber gen. et sp. nov.; S. lapa Huber gen. et sp. nov.; S. sagarana Huber gen. et sp. nov.). In line with previous efforts to explore the processes underlying the geographical distribution of Ninetinae, we also evaluate the potential effects of future climate change on the environmental niche occupied by three selected species of Kambiwa. Our results corroborate previous findings that demonstrate an altitude-mediated response to climate change. For a highland species, areas of high habitat suitability almost disappear under more severe climate change scenarios. For two species with lowland records, the areas with high habitat suitability increase significantly. Finally, we analyze the male karyotype of K. ibo which consists of 28 chromosomes including a X 1 X 2 X 3 Y system. All chromosomes are biarmed except for the Y chromosome. This contribution concludes a series of publications on the subfamily Ninetinae. We use this opportunity to summarize current knowledge about the subfamily, to discuss open questions and knowledge gaps, and to suggest further research topics focusing on these tiny but exceptional pholcids.

The Himalaya and Hindu Kush remain among the least scientifically explored mountain regions of Asia. Within their vertebrate fauna, pitvipers of the Gloydius himalayanus (Günther, 1864) complex have long presented taxonomic challenges due to limited sampling in remote areas and the absence of integrative analyses. Here, we present a comprehensive taxonomic revision of the G. himalayanus complex using an integrative framework that combines genetic and distributional data, external morphology, osteology, and ecological evidence. Our dataset also uniquely incorporates both newly collected material and DNA sequences obtained from 19 th - and early 20 th - century museum specimens, including one of the syntypes of G. himalayanus (BMNH 1946.1.19.64), underscoring the enduring value of historical collections in modern taxonomy. Analyses of four mitochondrial and three nuclear genes from populations across the western and central Himalaya and the Hindu Kush, many of which were genetically studied for the first time, recover five well-supported monophyletic lineages: G. himalayanus sensu stricto, G. chambensis, and three previously unrecognised lineages from the Hindu Kush of north-western Pakistan, the Hazara region of north-eastern Pakistan at the western margin of the Himalaya, and the Himalaya of western and central Nepal. Genetic distances in protein-coding mtDNA markers indicate species-level divergence among these lineages, ranging from 9.2–12.6 % in cyt b and 8.1–14.1 % in ND 4, with additional support from partial allelic differentiation in phased nuclear markers, morphology, and osteology. Based on these results, we formally describe three new species, substantially expanding the known diversity of Gloydius along the southern Himalaya. To stabilise the nomenclature, we designate a lectotype for Halys himalayanus Günther. By integrating modern and historical data, this study demonstrates the lasting scientific relevance of natural history collections and emphasises the urgent need for conservation of these narrowly distributed and potentially regionally threatened mountain snakes.
