Euthycaelus janae sp. nov. est décrite de Pebas, au Pérou, sur la base d'une femelle holotype au Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle de Londres, constituant simultanément la première mention de la sous-famille des Schismatothelinae Guadanucci, 2014 au Pérou.
