        <abstract>

            The samples of Ulva (Chlorophyta) were collected during different seasons, between 2015 and 2019, from the intertidal to shallow subtidal from 24 sampling stations of the Lagoon of Venice (Italy), including LTER-Italy sites. This dataset is part of Activity WP6.6 “National network of the aquatic science collections” of the project funded by EU - Next Generation EU Mission 4 “Education and Research” - Component 2: “From research to business” - Investment 3.1: “Fund for the realisation of an integrated system of research and innovation infrastructures” - Project IR0000032 – ITINERIS - Italian Integrated Environmental Research Infrastructures System - CUP B53C22002150006.

For each voucher, two subsamples were prepared: one dried in silica gel for molecular analysis, and a second preserved in 4% formalin in seawater for morphological studies.
For taxonomic identification, the DNA barcoding tool was applied according to the protocol reported in Armeli Minicante et al. (2024).</para>
