Abstract
The species of Acanthocnema Becker, 1894 from Nepal, Myanmar and Yunnan, China are revised, including new illustrations of A. himalaica Suwa, 1986 and the description of two new species: A. malaisei sp. nov. and A. pictipennis sp. nov. All species are illustrated, distributions mapped and an identification key to species is presented.
In addition, Lubomyia Šifner, 2010 is proposed as a junior synonym of Acerocnema Becker, 1894, syn. nov., giving the new combination Acerocnema orientalis (Šifner), comb. nov. This species is redescribed and illustrated.
