ABSTRACT
During a taxonomic revision of Ixora L. (Rubiaceae) in India, four names were found to lack proper typification. Lectotypes are selected for Ixora acuminata Roxb., I. thwaitesii Hook.f., and I. calycina Thwaites, while an erroneous lectotypification for I. brunnescens Kurz is rectified by selecting a new lectotype.
