When we look back to the journey that has transformed our museum and has become our foundation store. Since its birth, Natural History Museum, also aims to be more than a museum. Naturally, every exhibition would incorporate something from nature that embraces the beats of nature in synergy with human life cycles, from man and nature to the wonder of natural history.</p><p>Lepidoptera, or the order of butterflies and moths, itself has been suggested as a model indicator of ecosystem status and biodiversity. The Significance of Lepidoptera data, which are archived in the Natural History Museum, can not be underestimated in relation to promoting biodiversity conservation as well as public education. To be able to make available published datasets for better understanding of distribution patterns of various species of Lepidoptera contributes in a significant manner to scientific research.
