Sites included diverse forest types, such as secondary growth, old-growth primary, and forests over limestone and ultramafic rock (in Las Navas, Can-Avid, Taft, Basey, Motiong, Paranas, Pinabacdao, and San Jose de Buan). The surveys also included Mt. Huraw, the island's highest point.","sampling":"Two fieldwork expeditions were conducted: the first from October to November 2021 and the second in July 2022. The collection followed an opportunistic method, involving the gathering of at least three to five branches from plants that were bearing reproductive parts (flowers or fruits).
