Abstract
The genus Longiconnecta Li & Xing, 2016 is restricted to China and previously included four species. In this study, Longiconnecta lizizhongi sp. nov. is described and illustrated based on specimens collected from Yunnan Province, China. Additionally, an updated checklist and identification key to all known species of Longiconnecta are provided.
