The Biodiversity Act of Bhutan 2022 mandates the National Biodiversity Centre, in consultation with relevant agencies, to serve as the National Focal Point, coordinate and develop national management strategies, and furnish a list of invasive alien species to regulatory authorities for import regulation. In line with this mandate, the National Biodiversity Centre, with funding support from Bhutan for Life, has conducted various field trips to record invasive plant species across the country.\n        ","language":"eng","citation":{"text":"Phuentsho P (2026).
