Species composition, abundance and biomass of phytoplankton in the coastal waters of Zmiinyi island in the Black Sea in 2004-2015.
The Odessa National I.I. Mechnikov University phytoplankton datasets collected in the Zmiinyi Island coastal waters in the Black Sea in the framework of national research projects funded by Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine in 2004-2015. These datasets include about 25000 records of abundance, wet weight biomass for over 400 phytoplankton species in 1500 samples. Phytoplankton sampling was performed using 5 l Niskin bottle.
