Dataset collects the data about floristic diversity of Izium Forestry located in the Southeast part of Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. The forest stands are predominantly represents by artificial plantations of Scot's pine (Pinus sylvestris L.). Ukrainian forest ecosystems under climate change face an additional challenge from military aggression. In eastern part Ukraine, even-aged pine stands on sandy soils experience severe damage from fires and shelling, leading to mechanical injury of trees and altered ecosystem dynamics. The dataset is focused on flora of areas that were damaged by fires during full-scaled war (mostly in 2022). Due to landmine contamination, many areas remain unmanaged, allowing natural but poorly studied post-war successional processes to unfold. The investigations were conducted using the classical rout method of data collecting (in places which are safe for study) and UAV surveys (in territories which are dangerous for manual and eye-looked studies).

The focus includes both short-term dynamics and modelled long-term trajectories.\nA multidisciplinary approach integrates forestry, botany, remote sensing, and ecological modelling to describe all vegetation layers and deadwood structure. The research combines three components: analysis of post-fire vegetation dynamics using UAV-based stereophotogrammetry, assessment of forest structure with LiDAR, and simulation of forest development using a dynamics model.\nThe project relies exclusively on remote methods due to safety constraints, using UAV surveys, digital transects, and 3D point clouds to map vegetation and analyse under-canopy conditions without field presence.
