This dataset is maintained by info fauna (National Data and Information Centre of Swiss Fauna), a member of InfoSpecies. It includes records of some native invertebrate taxa from Switzerland and the adjacent area. Data sources include field observations provided by a large network of volunteer collaborators, environmental impact studies, national inventories and red lists, literature and academic work. The occurrence records provided are expected to reflect the distribution of the taxon in Switzerland. All data provided have been subject to a validation procedure. Currently provided: Swiss Endemic Copepods, Asellidae pro parte. Info fauna thanks the following partners for their involvement: Yves Gonseth, Pascal Moeschler.
