The dataset comprises 200 semi-quantitative records for 50 benthic invertebrate taxa and fish derived from four Agassiz trawl samples. The semi-quantitative data represent four categories of taxon occurrence frequency: notDetected, rare, common, and very common. Samples were collected on the continental shelf and slope near Kapp Norvegia (eastern Weddell Sea, Antarctica) at water depths ranging from 224 to 1,065 m during RV Polarstern cruise PS152 (WOBEC) in 2025/2026.
