The oak stand (compartment 20, plot 9, area 14.6 ha) (Didukh, 2025). Forest ecosystems have partially experienced significant anthropogenic impact as a result of fortification construction by Russian troops in 2022, which caused damage to the soil and vegetation cover, changes in microclimatic conditions, and alterations in the ecosystem structure (Moysiyenko et al., 2025).\nThe aim of the study was to assess the state of vegetation and document changes in the structure and species composition of the oak forest affected by the construction of fortifications. This dataset contains occurrences of ___ vascular plants species  recorded in 30 relevés. The study area is located in the Kyiv Region, Bucha District, Bucha municipal territorial community, North Ukraine. This area is located in the southern part of the mixed forests (Polissia) zone and in the northern part of the forest-steppe zone.","sampling":"Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods. Field research was carried out in a safe part of the forestry area, where in February–March 2022 Russian troops constructed an extensive network of field fortifications. According to visual surveys, the majority of these structures are dead-end trenches for armored vehicles (tanks, APC, IFV), the layout of which was previously described (Didukh et al., 2025). These fortifications are characterized by large and relatively uniform dimensions, which distinguish them from other types of defensive structures. In the oak forest, 10 such trenches were examined, and 30 floristic lists were compiled over three seasons—spring, summer, and autumn: 10 from trench pits, 10 from soil mounds, and 10 from control plots.
