The survey was conducted in July 2024 and documents the composition of herbaceous and tree-layer vegetation within a highly transformed urban environment.\n\nSampling was performed on a quasi-regular grid covering the entire park area. At each sampling location, all vascular plant species within a 3 × 3 m plot were recorded, together with estimates of their projective cover. All records are based on direct field observations. Species identifications were verified using the Euro Plus Med PlantBase.\n\nIvan Starov Square is characterized by strong recreational pressure and long-term anthropogenic transformation. Despite this, the park supports a mixture of native, synanthropic, and adventive species typical for urban ecosystems of the steppe zone in southeastern Europe.\n\nThe dataset provides georeferenced primary biodiversity data that can support studies of urban flora, ecological gradients, environmental assessment, and long-term monitoring.
