depth 13 m and the second basin “Secondo Seno” with a maximum depth 10 m. For this reason, it was created a first dataset focused on Solieriaceae family (macroalgae) and each record of the database is associated to a picture of the herbarium sheet. All the herbarium sheets were realized as products of monitoring activities belonging to the institutional activities up to 2000. After this period, the herbarium sheets were realized during activities from funded different projects such as Spicamar, Ritmare and eLTER. \nThis dataset includes 17 records of samples belonging to the Solieriaceae family collected in Mar Piccolo of Taranto.
