Operations during this 11-day expedition included the completion of 8 successful remotely operated vehicle (ROV) dives, which were conducted in seafloor depths ranging from 322 m to 4683 m for approximately 32.5 hours of bottom time and resulted in the collection of 41 samples. </p><p>This research used data collected during NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer expedition EX2502, led by NOAA Ocean Exploration.
