In this case, all sites with potential as nesting platforms such as buildings, ruins or other abandoned human structures and cliffs, (with regard to rock-dwelling species) in the study area were visited. \n\nAll surveys were carried out  monthly during the nesting period, between April and July, a time frame particularly aimed at the lesser kestrel, the Bonelli's eagle (Aquila fasciata) and the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos).
