This dataset includes wasps collected using standardized sampling protocol, Malaise traps from Lasha Mountain, Lanping district, Yunnan, China, during 2018-2019. Sampling was conducted along an elevational transect divided into seven elevational bands separated by 200 m vertical intervals (ranging from 2500 to 3700 m a.s.l ). One Malaise trap was deployed in each elevational band. Standard insect sampling method, namely Malaise traps was used to target Darwin wasps. Townes style Malaise trap was operated for ten days to collect flying insects. All samples were stored in 95% ethanol until wasps were extracted. Details on the sampling method are available in Yang et al.
