 sys <http://www.canadensys.net/>\, the workshop is part of one of the six 
 projects selected to receive support <http://www.gbif.org/programme/82219/
 all-projects> from GBIF’s capacity enhancement support programme in 2015. 
 Among the goals of the workshop are building biodiversity data publishing 
 capacity in Uruguay and strengthening regional capabilities in assessing d
 ata quality. The workshop includes theory and practical sessions on topics 
 ranging from digitization and publishing of biodiversity data\, to concept
 s and tools in data quality assessment\, and the structure and functionali
 ties of the planned data portal on Uruguay’s biodiversity.
