A b s t r a c t En el presente trabajo describimos una nueva especie de pez anual del sector suroeste de la cuenca de la Laguna Merín (Uruguay). Cynolebias reicherti sp. n. se relaciona a un grupo de Cynolebias (C. bellottii, C. melanoorus, C. viarius, and C. adloffi) de mediano porte con cuerpo relativamente alto, con menor número de radios en la aleta dorsal que la anal y las aletas pélvicas parcial o totalmente unidas entre sí. Se diferencia de las mismas y otras especies del género por la presencia de una mancha negra delimitada anteriormente por un borde celeste, en la región posterior de las aletas anal y dorsal en los machos y POr poseer las hembras una aleta anal triangular. La presencia de dos manchas en el pedúnculo caudal y el patrón de bandas en el cuerpo sugiere que se relaciona estrechamente con C. adloffi. Tambien se realizaron estudios cromosómicos para contribuir con la diagnosis de la nueva especie.

Abstract
An integrative taxonomic revision of the tribe Ennadini is presented for southern South America, based on adult morphological characters and a time-calibrated molecular phylogeny inferred from 11 genetic regions.The tribe is recovered as monophyletic, with an estimated crown age of 29.8 million years (Oligocene), according to a relaxed lognormal molecular clock model. The genera Ennada Blanchard and Spargania Guenée are redefined, and Praeapodroma Heimlich is transferred to Ennadini. Three new genera are described: Antuluciella gen. nov., Incantia gen. nov., and Kuyenusia gen. nov. Five new combinations are proposed: Antuluciella vittata (Philippi) comb. nov., Incantia edmondsii (Butler) comb. nov., Kuyenusia ceres (Butler) comb. nov., Praeapodroma macerata (Felder & Rogenhofer) comb. nov., and Praeapodroma scarata (Felder & Rogenhofer) comb. nov. Two new synonymies are established: Fidonia incandescens Thierry-Mieg = Incantia edmondsii (Butler), syn. nov.; and Heterusia mesenata Felder & Rogenhofer = Antuluciella vittata (Philippi), syn. nov. The reinstatement of Spargania pastoralis (Butler) comb. rev. is also proposed, and Kuyenusia tenten Ramos-González & Parra sp. nov. is described. Diagnostic characters, redescriptions, and distributional data are provided for all treated species. Lectotypes are designated where necessary to stabilize nomenclature. This revision provides a robust and updated systematic and evolutionary framework for Ennadini moths in the temperate regions of South America.

Abstract
A specie group within the genus Ichthyurus Westwood, 1848 in the Oriental Region is proposed based on the anatomical comparison. This group is designated as the I. macrurus species group and comprises three species, including I. macrurus Gestro, 1892 (new record in China), I. major Pic, 1922 (new record in China), and I. maculatipennis sp. nov. (China: Yunnan). These species are illustrated with habitus and genital segments of both sexes, pro- and mesothoracic legs of the male, aedeagus and internal genitalia of the female. A key for identification and a distribution map of this species group are provided.

Abstract
A new species of Loewinella Hermann, 1912, Loewinella kalasamalaensis sp. nov., is described from India, representing the first record of this genus from India and the second record from the Oriental region. The new species is illustrated and an updated identification key for the species is provided. The ecology and distribution of the genus is also briefly discussed.

Abstract
Six new species of the genus Sensillanura Deharveng, 1981 from the Appalachian Mountains of North America are described: S. snideri sp. nov., S. marimutti sp. nov., S. sotoadamesi sp. nov., S. giribeti sp. nov., S. subiasi sp. nov. and S. boneti sp. nov. Additions to the description of Sensillanura bullsa (Wray, 1953) are also included and new records for S. santizaragozai are given. An attempt to resolve the phylogeny of the tribe is done, with a cladistic analysis based on 137 external morphological characters of 30 species. An identification key for the species on the genus and the updated generic diagnosis is provided. A discussion of the biogeographical distribution of the Sensillanurini is also included.

Abstract
Despite the important advances made in the taxonomy of water fleas (Crustacea: Cladocera), many taxa have not yet been revised. The genus Simocephalus Schoedler, 1858 (Anomopoda: Daphniidae) belongs to understudied groups. During the last forty years, several attempts have been made to use genetic approaches to estimate species diversity within Simocephalus. At the same time, investigations on morphology almost stopped after the last revision of Orlova-Bienkowskaja (2001). The lack of morphological data, even on the most widespread taxa, makes it difficult to apply the remains of this group to paleoecological reconstructions, although Simocephalus ephippia are common in subfossil sediments and fossils of different geological ages. We investigated more than 80 ephippia of recent representatives of the genus from Eurasia and North America, and 45 ephippia from Pleistocene sites of different ages on these two continents. For the first time, we have distinguished three main morphotypes based on the sculpture of the ephippia among the recent representatives. Ephippia of the vetulus - type are covered by polygonal hillocks of moderate height and with prominent processes. This morphotype is the most common in Eurasia, but it could be found on other continents, considering the distribution patterns of the S. vetulus species complex. Ephippia of the vetuloides-mixtus - type are covered by hillocks with processes strongly protruding above the ephippium surface. This morphotype is found only in the Asian part of Russia; it has more localized distribution than the vetulus- type. Ephippia of the serrulatus - type are covered by almost flat hillocks, or with hillocks of moderate height. This morphotype is found in both Eurasia and North America, which may confirm previous genetic data on a close relationship between serrulatus populations from the Eastern Palearctic and North America. Ephippia of the vetulus - and serrulatus - types are found in several Pleistocene localities. Due to lack of information about ornamentation patterns of Simocephalus ephippia of pre-Cenozoic age, we could not estimate the precise time of the morphotype separation. However we may conclude that in the Late Pleistocene the vetulus - and serrulatus- types were broadly distributed in Northern Eurasia and North America. Simocephalus ephippia demonstrate a morphological stasis at least since the Late Pleistocene, or even during longer time. In Maly Chukochiy Cape deposits (Republic Yakutia) we found a sole ephippium presumably belonging to an extinct taxon of Simocephalus. Eastern parts of Northern Eurasia had diverse communities of Simocephalus at the Pleistocene-Holocene boundary, and these then changed analogously to the transformation of Daphnia communities. In the course of our work, we obtained a large set of illustrations of Simocephalus ephippium morphology in different populations. We hope that our study will attract more attention to the taxonomy of modern Simocephalus and its Pleistocene-earlier Holocene subfossil ephippia.

Abstract
The whitefly genus Aleurocanthus Quaintance & Baker is revised from China. Two new species viz., A. latifolii sp. nov. and A. macropodi sp. nov., are described and illustrated. Aleurocanthus chiengmaiensis Takahashi and A. clitoriae Jesudasan and David are recorded for the first time from China. The occurrence of an undescribed Aleurocanthus species in China is documented. Sexual dimorphism observed in the puparia of A. clitoriae is presented. New host plant records are indicated. An identification key to the puparia of Aleurocanthus species known from China is provided.

Abstract
Barbadocladius is a genus of orthoclad midges endemic to the Andes, currently comprising two described species: B. andinus and B. limay. In this study, we emend the diagnosis of the genus. The male, female, and pupa of B. andinus and the pupa of B. limay are redescribed based on new material from the Patagonian Andes. Morphological analyses exhibited the expected variation typical of pupal traits, while mitochondrial COI sequences showed marked genetic divergence between Patagonian and Peruvian populations. Phylogenetic and NMDS analyses do not indicate a latitudinal genetic structure, but possible cryptic diversity or incipient speciation events are suggested. The absence of intermediate samples limits conclusions about the nature of this divergence. Further integrative studies are needed to clarify the taxonomy and evolutionary history of the genus.
Beyond the taxonomic revision, this work provides an example of a population-level genetic analysis in a noncharismatic, non-economically relevant insect group. Such studies are usually restricted to taxa of agricultural, quarantine, or conservation concern. By applying integrative tools to Barbadocladius, we highlight how combining molecular and morphological evidence can reveal hidden diversity even in poorly known, non-model lineages, contributing to a broader understanding of Andean biogeography and evolutionary processes.

Abstract
A new crane fly species, Tipula (Vestiplex) pseudocoxitalis sp. nov., is described and illustrated based on material collected in Chongqing, China. An identification key is provided to distinguish males of the new species from other members of the T. (V.) coxitalis Alexander, 1935 species group.

Abstract
This paper reports ten species of Membraniporina and Thalamoporellina bryozoans collected along the Konkan coast of Maharashtra, India. Among these, Thalamoporella souleorum sp. nov. is described as new to science. Biflustra marcusi is recorded from India for the first time. Five species, Arbopercula angulata, Biflustra perambulata, Jellyella eburnea, Sinoflustra annae, and Thalamoporella hamata, are already known from the region. Three species (Arbocuspis sp.,? Einhornia sp., and Thalamoporella sp.) are left in open nomenclature owing to the poor preservation of the available material.

Abstract
A new species of Leporinus (Characiformes: Anostomidae) is described from tributaries of the upper rio Jequitinhonha basin, eastern Brazil, based on morphological and molecular evidence. The new species is distinguished from congeners by the unique combination of three premaxillary and four dentary teeth, 12 scale rows around the caudal peduncle, three large dark midlateral blotches on the body, and a conspicuous red spot on the posterior portion of the upper lip. It is further characterized by its reduced body size, with the largest known specimen reaching only 128.6 mm of standard length, an uncommon condition among anostomids. DNA barcoding analyses (COI) revealed genetic divergences ranging from 3.8% to 8.5% from its closest congeners (L. microphthalmus and L. amblyrhynchus) and consistently recovered all specimens of the new species as a distinct Molecular Operational Taxonomic Unit. Phylogenetic analyses placed the new species within the L. melanopleura clade, together with L. amblyrhynchus, L. melanopleura, L. melanopleurodes, and L. microphthalmus. The species is endemic to a restricted area of the rio Jequitinhonha basin, where its populations are likely severely fragmented and threatened by multiple anthropogenic impacts. The discovery of this small-sized anostomid adds to the growing evidence of high levels of endemism and conservation concerns in eastern Brazilian coastal drainages.

Abstract
A new species of the Cyrtodactylus intermedius group, C. kiriromensis sp. nov., from Kirirom National Park of Phnom Sruoch in the Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia is delimited based on a mitochondrial (ND2) phylogeny and statistically diagnosed using meristic, morphometric, and color pattern characters. Cyrtodacytylus kiriromensis sp. nov. is the sister species of C. septimontium of southern Vietnam and forms part of a clade with six other site-specific endemic species from the mountains and islands of southeastern Cambodia and southwestern Vietnam. The ongoing discoveries of localized endemic species in the Cardamom Mountains underscores their fragmented nature and the importance of this landscape as a source of speciation as well as its notable contribution to the herpetological diversity of Cambodia. As such, it should be given special consideration as a conservation priority.

Abstract
Echinoderms are found across a wide bathymetric range. Generally, the deep-sea environments remain inaccessible for sampling, however, by-catch serves as an opportunistic source for collecting and studying marine invertebrates from different depths. In this study, samples were collected from three sectors of the Algerian coast: East (Annaba), Central (Algiers, Tipasa) and West (Mostaganem) between November 2021 and May 2024, and identified based on morphological criteria. A total of 26 echinoderm species were recorded. Two asteroids belonging to the order Valvatida are reported for the first time on the Algerian coast: Anseropoda placenta (Pennant, 1777) found in the western sector and Peltaster placenta (Müller & Troschel, 1842) in the eastern sector. The echinoid of the order Camarodonta, Gracilechinus acutus (Lamarck, 1816) is also recorded for the first time in the eastern and western sectors. In parallel, a detailed literature review allowed the documentation of all echinoderm species previously reported along the Algerian coast, bringing the total number of known echinoderm species to 72 to date.

Abstract
Here we describe a species from the subgenus Odatria that is allied with the Kimberley Rock Goanna, Varanus glauerti. The new species, Varanus fyfei sp. nov., is highly distinct from V. glauerti in nuclear and mitochondrial phylogenetic analyses and can be morphologically diagnosed on dorsal and tail colour patterns. The new species appears to be a shortrange endemic restricted primarily to sandstone ranges and isolated hills of the north-western Northern Territory. It is mostly saxicoline inhabiting sheer rock faces in gorges and utilises horizontal crevices fractionally wider than their head depth on the rock face and at least 2m above ground level as night-time refugia. The species forages diurnally for small lizards and insects on vertical rock-faces. We also demonstrate two evolutionary lineages within V. glauerti, from the east and west Kimberley. The lineages can be distinguished in nuclear and mitochondrial phylogenetic analyses and on dorsal and tail colour patterns and body size. One of our west Kimberley samples is a hybrid, but the ranges of both lineages in the central Kimberley need further definition to better understand the degree of gene flow between the two and typotypic material of V. glauerti Mertens needs examination to establish the taxonomic provenance of the type, which is in poor condition.

Abstract
Three new species of free-living marine nematodes belonging to the family Xyalidae are described from the Argentinean coast: Rhynchonema paraseparatum sp. nov., Rhynchonema bicuspidatum sp. nov., and Prorhynchonema uncinoa sp. nov. Rhynchonema paraseparatum sp. nov. is characterized by an annulated cuticle without projections, L-shaped spicules, and a gubernaculum with dorsal projections. Rhynchonema bicuspidatum sp. nov. has an annulated cuticle with anterior and posterior projections, a uniquely shaped gubernaculum with two distal tips, and longitudinal bands along the mid-body. Prorhynchonema uncinoa sp. nov. is characterized by a gubernaculum with hook-like distal structures and amphids located well posterior to the buccal cavity. These findings expand the taxonomic knowledge and geographic distribution of Xyalidae in the Southern Hemisphere.

ABSTRACT
We propose establishing a new genus of mygalomorph spiders in the family Theraphosidae Thorell, 1869, from the Province Calca, Department of Cusco, Peru. The monotypic genus Allpamayu n. gen. with its type species Allpamayu suyuwixsa n. gen, n. sp. is described. Allpamayu n. gen. differs from the known Ischnocolinae Simon, 1892 by the following unique combination of characters: abdomen with stripes, labium with a low number of cuspules, and clavate trichobothria on tarsi forming two parallel rows along half of tarsus length. Additional characters are palpal bulb of males with two keels, metatarsal ventral tumescence on the first pair of legs, cymbium with long erected setae, spermathecae of females with large subquadrate receptacles and a short wide duct oriented laterally and pointing upwards carrying two to three rounded lobes.

Abstract
A new species of oak gall wasp, Neuroterus paradecrescens García-Martiñón & Pujade-Villar sp. nov. is described. The description is based on the asexual female generation, that induces galls on the leaves of different endemic oak species of section Quercus. Galls are very similar to Neuroterus saltatorius var. decrescens from Arizona (USA). Diagnosis, distribution and data on the biology of the new species are given. This species represents one of the smallest species of gall wasps.

Abstract
We describe a new species of Pristimantis based on morphological and acoustic evidence from the western slopes of the Serranía del Baudó, tentatively assigned to the Pristimantis ridens species group. The new species can be distinguished from congeneric species by having coppery or reddish bronze iris, with fine black reticulations and light blue sclera, upper eyelid bearing one to three subconical tubercles, posterior surfaces of thighs generally solid brown, with small cream specks present in a few cases and groin solid brown, with some individuals showing a cream or golden blotch. Moreover, this new species distribution is notably distant from the other most similar species, inhabiting the humid lowland tropical forests of the western slopes of the Serranía del Baudó. With the description of this new species, the Pristimantis ridens species group reaches 31 species, that can be found in the Andean and Pacific regions from Central America to northern Peru.
