Abstract
Two new species of Casphalia Walker, 1866, Casphalia eala sp. nov. from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Casphalia safiani sp. nov. from Cameroon, are described here. The new species are distinguished by comparison with the known Casphalia species and belong to the C. nigerrima species group (Fiebig et al. 2026). Adults, their genitalia, and a map showing the collection localities are illustrated.

Abstract
Six new species belonging to the densimacularis species-group of the genus Promalactis Meyrick, 1908 from China are described: P. chenzhouensis Wang sp. nov., P. espinata Wang sp. nov., P. proximinfulata Wang sp. nov., P. schizivalva Wang sp. nov., P. shengtangshana Wang sp. nov. and P. similiquinilineata Wang sp. nov. The female of P. similinfulata Wang, Kendrick & Sterling, 2009 is reported for the first time. Diagnostic characters for distinguishing the new species are given. Images of adults and illustrations of genitalia are included.

Abstract
Three new species, a new genus, and a new subfamily of Locustopsidae Handlirsch, 1906 are described from the Early Cretaceous Crato Formation of Brazil. Pseudoacrida eumastacoimima sp. nov. represents the third global record of the genus and the second species named from the Crato Formation, following P. sennlaubi Nel & Jouault, 2022. The head morphology of P. eumastacoimima sp. nov. resembles that of members of Eumastacoidea. A newly discovered specimen of P. sennlaubi is also presented herein, providing additional morphological data beyond the two previously known forewings, including preserved body structures that enhance our understanding of the species. A new genus, Auroralocusta gen. nov., is described from the formation. Auroralocusta restituta gen et sp. nov. shares with Pseudoacrida the diagnostic feature of the CuA + CuPaα branch that continues beyond its fusion with CuPaβ. However, it differs by possessing only two branches of M, whereas Pseudoacrida has three. Based on these differences and shared features, a new subfamily, Pseudoacridinae subfam. nov., is proposed to house Pseudoacrida and Auroralocusta. Lastly, a new species of Mesolocustopsis Hong & Wang, 1990 is described as Mesolocustopsis levis sp. nov., further expanding the locustopsid diversity of the Crato Formation. With the inclusion of these new taxa, the known diversity of Locustopsidae from the formation now comprises 26 species distributed across eleven genera. A comparative analysis of Locustopsidae diversity from the Crato Formation, the Lower Jurassic of Germany, and the Lower Cretaceous of UK suggests that the Crato Formation represents a major hotspot of locustopsid evolution, with a greater number of taxa recorded than from any other locality worldwide.

Abstract
During a survey of Chinese Parasitidae, two new species, Cerogamasus cornutus Ren & Yao sp. nov. and Cerogamasus crassipilosus Ren & Yao sp. nov., were discovered and described. A new key to females of the known species of the genus is presented.

Abstract
Theodore Cantor described Coronella violacea in 1839 for a colubrid snake collected from “Rungpore” (now Rangpur, Bangladesh). It was applied to several species in the genus Oligodon until Smith (1940) treated the name as a junior synonym of Oligodon cyclurus (Cantor, 1839). Evidence from the unpublished notes and watercolor drawings of Cantor indicate Coronella violacea is not a synonym of O. cyclurus, but is conspecific with Oligodon kheriensis Acharji & Ray, 1936. The collector of the holotype of Coronella violacea is identified as Honoratus Bonnevie, a Norwegian-born merchant and indigo plantation owner who lived in Rangpur during Cantor’s residency in British India. Precedence cannot be reversed in favor of O. kheriensis, so the older name is resurrected as Oligodon violaceus stat. reinstat., with O. kheriensis relegated as a junior synonym. Since the holotype of Coronella violacea is considered lost, the holotype of Oligodon kheriensis is designated as the neotype, an act that objectively links the two nomina with one another.

Abstract
A new species of the diogenid hermit crab genus Diogenes Dana, 1851, D. kakeroma, is described and illustrated based on material from shallow subtidal waters (2–4 m deep) in Amami Islands, Ryukyu Islands, southern Japan. This new species is morphologically similar to D. holthuisi Asakura & Tachikawa, 2010 and D. minimus Komai & Yoshida, 2020, both known from Japanese waters, but is notable for its unarmed antennal acicles, a trait that appears to be unique within the genus. The status of the new species is further validated by phylogenetic analyses using mitochondrial 16 S rRNA and COI genes.

Abstract
Formerly, only one species of Neotrichia, N. esmalda (Mosely), was recorded from Costa Rica. In this publication, we add 10 new species (N. alajuela sp. nov., N. cerberusi sp. nov., N. chaconorum sp. nov., N. doshocica sp. nov., N. gancho sp. nov., N. monika sp. nov., N. munozi sp. nov., N. paragancho sp. nov., N. pejensis sp. nov., N. trescuerna sp. nov.) and 13 new country records, all belonging to the Neotrichia canixa species group, to Costa Rica’s fauna. We also discuss and acknowledge transfer of all the former Neotropical members of the Neotrichia esmalda species group to the Neotrichia canixa species group. There are now 24 species of Neotrichia known from Costa Rica, all of which are in the same species group.

Abstract
The subgenus Steneotarsonemus (Steneotarsonemoides) Mitrofanov & Sharonov of Russia is reviewed. Females of Steneotarsonemus (Steneotarsonemoides) azureus Mitrofanov & Sharonov, S. (S.) cerinus Mitrofanov & Sharonov, and S. (S.) porrectus Livshits et al. are redescribed based on type materials. The female, male and larva of S. (S.) rugosus sp. nov., collected from Calamagrostis arundinacea (Poaceae) in Western Siberia, and female of S. (S.) fuscus sp. nov., collected from Spodiopogon sibiricus (Poaceae) in Primorski Krai, Russia, are described. A key to species of the subgenus Steneotarsonemus (Steneotarsonemoides) is provided. Two species, namely, S. amlisoae Karmakar et al., 2021 and S. indianensis Karmakar & Mondal, 2021, previously described in the subgenus Steneotarsonemoides, moved to the nominative subgenus Steneotarsonemus s. str.

Abstract
The species-group names of Erythrochiton Zajciw, 1957 are corrected. Seventeen new state records are reported for the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul and one for the state of Maranhão. Gorybia tibialis Martins, 1976 is recorded from Brazil for the first time. Kolobophora dolia, representing both a new genus and a new species, is described from Bahia, Brazil; the new genus is included in a previous key. Poecilopeplus haemopterus (Lucas, 1859) is synonymized under Poecilopeplus intricatus (Blanchard, 1847). Notes on Lepturges (Lepturges) fasciculatoides Gilmour, 1962 are provided. A variation in the color of the pubescence of Drycothaea viridescens (Buquet, 1857) is reported. The first formally recorded host plant of Tapeina melzeri Zajciw, 1966 is reported.

Abstract. Museu Paraense Emilio Goeldi (MPEG), situated at Brazilian state of Pará, houses the third largest South-American mammal scientific collection,being a primary source of information for the study of Amazonian and Neotropical mammalians. The collection holds 245 felid specimens,comprising 210 skulls, 53 skins, 10 skeletons,and two anatomical pieces,representing 90%of wild Brazilian cat species,mainly from localities of Northern Brazil.We presented a list of this material,indexed by the genera and species.We also provided craniodental measurements of all the specimens with skull,and comment on the conservation status of the species and other remarkable data,including the first record of Leopardus tigrinus in the Brazilian state of Rondônia.

Abstract
Frequent biodiversity sampling and monitoring programs often lead to relevant taxonomic findings. Here, as a product of different field expeditions to two places in the northern Andes, we discover and describe two new species of rain frogs of the genus Pristimantis from the cloud forests of the Central Cordillera of Colombia. Pristimantis chocolatebari sp. nov. is diagnosed by having the following character states: dentigerous process of vomer triangular, snout large and protruding, dorsum smooth, vocal slits and vocal sac present, groin and hidden part of the thighs yellow. Pristimantis carylae sp. nov. is diagnosed by having iris copper red, dentigerous process of vomer oval, snout short and rounded, dorsum finely shagreen with scattered tubercles, double nuptial pad in males, groin and hidden part of thighs pink. We also infer, for the first time, the phylogenetic position of P. permixtus, P. platychilus, and two candidate new species. In addition, we emphasize not to use genetic distance as the only source of evidence for species delimitation, considering the high intraspecific diversity found in one of the species described here. Finally, we highlight the relevance of different habitat and ecosystem conservation strategies to promote amphibian diversity studies in the Andes.

Abstract
The genus Autolyca Stål, 1875 (Pseudophasmatidae: Pseudophasmatinae: Anisomorphini) comprises several species endemic to Nuclear Central America. Here, we report the first record of Autolyca pallidicornis Stål, 1875 from Honduras, based on specimens from the Celaque Mountains and historical, previously unreported museum material from a nearby locality in Gracias housed in the Field Museum of Natural History (FMNH), Chicago. The species can be distinguished by its characteristic shiny black coloration, robust abdomen, orange-yellowish antennae, and distinctive genital structures. Previously, A. herculeana Conle & Hennemann, 2002 was the only species of the genus formally recorded from the country. With this new record, two species of Autolyca are now formally known from Honduras. Additionally, we provide notes on the natural history of the species and a taxonomic review of the genus Autolyca. This finding underscores the importance of studying the diversity of phasmids and other taxa in this region to better understand its distribution and biogeographic patterns.

Abstract
In Japan, linyphiid spiders are relatively common inhabitants of caves and other hypogean habitats. However, their taxonomy, distribution, and sometimes even their occurrence in subterranean environments, remain poorly studied for most species. To help partially fill this knowledge gap, herein we present new taxonomic and faunistic data on Japanese cave-dwelling linyphiid species. Particularly, we report the genus Anguliphantes Saaristo & Tanasevitch, 1996 for the first time in Japan. We provide new subterranean records, redescriptions, and detailed images of diagnostic characters for poorly known species belonging to the genera Arcuphantes Chamberlin & Ivie, 1943; Nihonella Ballarin & Yamasaki, 2021; Micrargus Dahl, 1886; and Porrhomma Simon, 1884, including the first description of the previously unknown males of Arcuphantes ashifuensis and A. longissimus. Additionally, we describe three newly discovered cave-dwelling species: Arcuphantes iseensis sp. nov. (male, female), Nihonella tanikawai sp. nov. (male, female), and Porrhomma niimiensis sp. nov. (female). To further support the validity of the newly described species and facilitate future identifications and research on the Japanese cave-dwelling spider fauna, we provide DNA barcodes for the species discussed and perform molecular phylogenetic and/or pairwise distance analyses for the genera Arcuphantes, Nihonella, Micrargus, and Porrhomma.

Abstract
Six new species in the genus Pitnus are described from Latin America, including four from Baja California, Mexico, one from Peru, and one from the Galápagos Islands as P. bajaensis, P. clarionensis, P. glabrus, P. punctatus, P. peruvianus, and P. valentinei. Also included are images of the new species, male genitalia and a distribution map for the species found in Mexico. New possible host records for Pitnus antillanus Bellés are also provided.

Abstract
We describe a new species of nymphalid butterfly, Chonala albistricta sp. nov. (Satyrinae: Satyrini) from Mayodia pass, Lower Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh, India, based on two male and one female specimens. The new species may be distinguished from the similar C. masoni (Elwes, 1882) by a distinctly narrower, unevenly bent white band on the forewing and other morphological traits, and differences in the tip of valve of the male genitalia. Additional notes are provided on the distributional range, habits and habitat, and phenology.

Abstract
The Mexican leafhopper Gyponana germari (Stål), previously reported in Hawaii, Mexico, and Central America, has recently been documented in the continental United States from Florida. The species is here reported for the first time from Belize, El Salvador, and Honduras. Diagnosis of G. germari and its distinction from other similar Gyponana spp. in Florida are discussed. DNA sequence data for the loci 18S and 28S are reported for the first time, and the species is redescribed in detail. Potential interactions based on community science observations between G. germari and ants are briefly noted. The richness of the leafhopper genus Gyponana and adventive leafhoppers in Florida is briefly reviewed.

Abstract
The species constitution and taxonomy of Zenithicola Spinola, 1841 is reviewed, resulting in description of Megaxestodes gen. nov. . for Megaxestodes crassus (Newman, 1840) comb. nov., Megaxestodes funestus (Chevrolat, 1874) comb. nov. and Megaxestodes socius (Chevrolat, 1874) stat. rev., comb. nov., the latter removed from synonymy with M. funestus. Zenithicola cribricollis Pic, 1941 syn. nov. is synonymised with Megaxestodes socius (Chevrolat, 1874) comb. nov., and Clerus obesus White, 1846 syn. nov. removed from synonymy with Megaxestodes crassus and newly synonymised with Megaxestodes funestus. The genera Balcus Sharp, 1877, Mimolesterus Gerstmeier, 1991, Phlogistomorpha Hintz, 1908, Phlogistus Gorham, 1876 and Zenithicola Spinola, 1841 are discussed within the context of a newly defined informal group, the Zenithicola -complex. The taxonomy of several Zenithicola -complex species is revised. New synonymies and combinations include: Aulicus dives Blackburn, 1900 syn. nov. = Phlogistomorpha mastersii (Macleay, 1872); Phlogistus affinis (Gorham, 1876) stat. rev., comb. nov. (removed from synonymy with Phlogistus smaragdinus (Gorham, 1876 )); Aulicus corallipes Chevrolat, 1874 syn. nov. = Phlogistus castanipes (Westwood, 1849) stat. rev., comb. nov. (removed from synonymy with Phlogistus instabilis (Newman)); Phlogistus corporaali Pic, 1941 syn. nov. = Phlogistus sculptus (Macleay, 1872); Phlogistus rufimembris Pic, 1941 syn. nov. = Phlogistus niger Hintz, 1908; Phlogistus speciosus Hintz, 1908 syn. nov. = Phlogistus schulzi Hintz, 1908; Aulicus mundus Blackburn, 1900 syn. nov. = Phlogistus viridissimus (Pascoe, 1860) stat. rev., comb. nov. (removed from synonymy with Phlogistus delicatulus (Boheman, 1859)). Xylotretus scrobiculatus Spinola, 1845, hitherto assigned to Zenithicola, is classified as Cleridae incertae sedis. Lectotypes are designated for Clerus obesus White, 1846, Phlogistus remotus Schenkling, 1915, Zenithicola cribricollis Pic, 1941, Zenithicola funestus Chevrolat, 1874 and Zenithicola socius Chevrolat, 1874. Figures of Megaxestodes species and other taxa under discussion are presented.
